I sat opposite Mario Testino at breakfast here, which I guess was a good sign, although I'd already fallen for this place pretty much the minute we turned into the driveway. Located in the centre of Ibiza, this is a family run affair with just 10 rooms and two suites occupying an old finca - think pine beams, terracotta floors and all sorts of beautiful objets d'art that the owners have picked up from their travels. it's actually close-ish enough to all the island's nightlife but I'd recommend coming here for a quiet holiday instead, this beautiful spot would be wasted on hangovers. Most rooms face out to olive groves, almond trees and orchards and are blissfully quiet - the only thing waking you up from a slumber would be someone lazily flopping into the pool. Another major draw for me was the restaurant - SUCH good food, most of which is grown on site. I actually enjoyed eating salad here, which was a novelty. Nights were all about sunsets, G&Ts (Hendricks, Fever Tree and cucumber of course) and sooo much quality sleep. Trust me, this one's a keeper.
